The Vases of Maestro Polo!

An Internationally renown Chulucana Potter, Maestro "Polo" has dedicated his life to ceramics. Born in the Peruvian Pueblo of Chulucana, Polo has demonstrated his genius throughout the world. He has been honored by the University of Paris, France, and the University of Monterrey, Mexico, with honorary degrees in recognition of his work. He has only recently turned his attention to the United States, and has put on exhibitions in Florida, California, and at Harvard University demonstrating the unique method of producing pottery as devised by the Potters of Chulucana.

His true name is Apolinario Ramirez Zapata, although he has used the signature 'Polo' on his works since he was 15. The name was derived using an acronym of the motto of Sanoc Camayocthe, the Chulucanas ceramic organization:

"Pueblo-Organizado-Libre-Orientado"

A "minor" problem with the vases made by Maestro Polo is that each and every one is different! This makes it difficult for us to sell and for you to purchase.
