Description: The Inca religion believed that there were gods which influenced the heavens, the earth, and the underworld. The priest would use animals as conduits to the gods - they would tell the animal their message and then release them to carry the message to the appropriate god. This figure shows the priest and a jaguar - the conduit to the gods of the earth.
